Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). CIDA is the federal government agency charged with planning and implementing most of Canada's development cooperation program in order to reduce poverty and to contribute to a more secure, equitable and prosperous world. CIDA supports projects in more than 150 countries working in partnership with developing country governments, Canadian organizations, institutions and businesses, as well as international organizations and agencies. As the lead funder, CIDA has committed over $17 million to EDP over a seven-year period.
Development Cooperation Ireland (DCI). DCI is the Government of Ireland's programme of assistance to developing countries with a development cooperation policy and programme that reflects a commitment to human rights and fairness in international relations. DCI's underpinning priority is the reduction of poverty, inequality, and exclusion in developing countries. DCI has generously worked in cooperation with CIDA to co-fund EDP's Senior Leadership Development Program in Kosovo.
